About Amy

Country Fest June 2011
Hi guys!  I'm Amy the author of Living and Learning by Amy.  I am a 20-something college graduate from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point (UWSP) as of December of 2012 with a Bachelors in Business Administration with a Concentration in Management.

I already have a General Studies Transfer Certificate from Northcentral Technical College (NTC), and my Associates of Arts and Science from the University of Wisconsin - Marathon County (UWMC) but these certificates and degrees were the stepping stones to the Bachelors degree I will be obtaining from UWSP.

At 58lbs he thinks he's a lap dog

I am the older of two kids in my family, my younger sibling being a brother.  I am a animal lover, dogs especially.  In my 22 years of life I have only been without a dog for a month.  Bo, our Gordon Setter, is just over a year old and is like my baby even though he's my parent's dog so when I leave the nest I will not be able to take Bo with me.

I absolutely love country music.  It's what I grew up listening to and 99% of the time it is what I'm listening to on a daily basis.  Occasionally some popular non-country songs that friends recommend get thrown in there too.  When I have the time and money I love to go to country music festivals and concerts in Wisconsin to see my favorite artists.  I have been to Fudd Fest, Country Jam, and Country Fest along with the fair that brings some country artists to town.  My favorite artists lately are Justin Moore, Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert, Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, and Lady Antebellum.  Really that list could go on and on forever.

That's basically me in a nut shell.  If you want to know more don't hesitate to ask!

  1. I'm so glad you found my blog & left me a comment, telling me you're now a follower! Looks like we are even more similar - i have a dog almost the same size as yours who truly believes he is a lap dog in every sense of the word. I mean, he will literally sit on you, wherever he pleases, sometimes even your head! it's so funny, but so inconvenient at times!

    1. Honestly, I don't mind my "lap dog" and sometimes wish he was even more of a snuggler! Thanks for stopping by my blog :)
